the process
We collaborate with artists, labels, and creative teams to craft visual identities across cover art, posters, merch, and full campaign visuals.
Our process keeps things simple, structured, and transparent from the first message to the final file.
-
Everything starts with a quick exchange
We gather a few essential details: project type, deliverables, timeline, and any existing ideas or assets and send a short Discovery Form to help define the scope before our first call.
-
Once we have the essentials, we align on goals, mood, and overall direction.
This step can happen through a written discussion or a short discovery call when needed.
The form serves as our guide - we clarify references, style preferences, messaging, and deliverables to ensure a clear creative foundation.
-
We translate the discovery insights into a visual starting point.
A moodboard defines the tone, texture, and visual language of the project.
The client validates this direction before design work begins - it’s the first creative checkpoint.
-
We move into full production, shaping the overall direction, visual balance, and atmosphere of the design.
The first version is usually delivered within three days after concept approval, followed by refinements after the delivery based on feedback while staying aligned with the scope.
-
After approval, we finalize the visuals and prepare everything for the rollout.
Deliverables are shared through the client portal or private link - ready to use and easy to access.
-
Once everything is finalized, we remain available whether it’s new formats, adjustments, or future campaigns.
We value long-term collaboration and aim to grow alongside the teams we work with, ensuring consistency and evolution across every project.
our WORK
Visual branding & design package for an album release
We were commissioned by a rising hip-hop artist to create a complete visual package for their new album, THE SINS I PRAYED FOR.
The scope included front and back cover art, merchandise designs for fans, and promotional visuals to support the album’s release.
Creative direction for a new clothing collection
We partnered with the clothing brand DSCNCTD to create designs that align with their core values-creativity, self-love, and bold confidence.
These designs are tailored to appeal to their audience, primarily young adults in the music and entertainment industry, who have a strong affinity for streetwear.
Designing a poster and collateral assets for a festival
Make Out Music Festival approached HBLRStudio to develop a comprehensive visual identity that would reflect the festival’s spirit and its diverse lineup.
The deliverables included a poster design, along with wristband and ticket designs, as well as a range of promotional assets intended for both festival promotion and on-site use during the event.

I’m Han, founder and designer at HBLRStudio. I specialize in creating visual identities for the music, events, and clothing industries—cover art, posters, merch, and full campaigns.
As a musician myself, I bring both a designer’s eye and an insider’s understanding of how visuals connect with sound and audience.
